Cut a piece of black paper 4 1/16” square for the box lid. Score at 1” on all 4 sides. Cut another piece of black paper 4” square for the box bottom. Score at 1” on all 4 sides. Cut slits on 2 sides only to the 1” mark on both the lid and the bottom. Fold up all the score lines and tuck the cut piece inside the box and secure with glue or tape. If you increase or reduce the size of the box, the lid must be 1/16” larger than the bottom.
Using the largest Heart Scalloped Nestabilities Die, cut 2 black hearts. Cut one black heart using the third smallest die. Cut one plain white heart using the largest heart die and one plain white heart using the third largest heart die. Stamp a design on the smallest white heart and color. Glue one large black scalloped heart to the box bottom, being sure to place it on straight. Glue the stamped white heart to the smaller black scalloped heart. Emboss the largest white heart die cut with any embossing folders. Glue that to the last black scalloped heart and glue that to the box lid, being sure the box and lid are aligned properly for everything to fit. Add a red ribbon bow and embellish further if you wish.
